The recently launched Oriole Village has been designated “Property of the week” in luxury property magazine Abode2.

Nestled on a south-facing slope, the architecture of Oriole Village reflects Ombria’s commitment to sustainable construction methods, using geothermal energy and low building density to perfectly integrate the properties into nature, whilst creating a traditional Algarvian village feel. With internal areas ranging from 70 to 300 sqm, all properties majestically take full advantage of the panoramic views across the resort’s 18-hole golf course and lush green hills beyond.

Oriole Village’s residents will also have access to Ombria Resort’s golf course and 5-star hotel managed by Viceroy Hotels & Resorts (opening Spring 2023) and its extensive facilities such as six restaurants, spa, kids club, library, gourmet shop, Golf Clubhouse and conference centre.

João Richard Costa, Director of Sales & Marketing at Ombria Resort, says: “The launch of Oriole Village is a much-anticipated milestone and we are thrilled to see such strong interest from buyers. The fact that these homes are eligible for the Golden Visa program and the Non-Habitual Resident tax regime is also a huge benefit that draws in savvy real estate investors. Owners at Oriole Village can use their property either as permanent residence or as holiday home. If vendors decide to rent out their property, they can find comfort in the fact that their holiday let is managed by Ombria’s management company and operated by a market-leading hotel operator such as Viceroy Hotels and Resorts.”

With 20% of properties already reserved, construction of Oriole Village is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022, with completion expected for Summer 2025.
