Responsibilities

 

  • Determine clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose suitable properties
  • Provide guidance and negotiate with potential buyers with the specific purpose of closing sales transactions through the payment term and until completion of the properties
  • Accompany potential buyers to site, to showcase the project and the properties on sale
  • Liaise with banks and/or mortgage agencies, lawyers and real estate agencies to complete purchase
  • Collaborate with marketing department in creation of lead generation programmes
  • Keep CRM systems up to date with timely and accurate information
  • Attend international and local sales events and road-shows
  • Create and build relationships with buyers for future direct or referral sales transactions

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven sales track record in similar in-house position (luxury mixed-use developments) or in luxury real estate agency
  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven by results, positive attitude and with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills, organised and a pro-active team player
  • Fluent (written & speaking) in Portuguese, English and French or German. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiar with MS Office. Knowledge of a CRM system is a plus

PR & Events Manager

The person will coordinate all the company’s public relations activities and be responsible for the marketing communications plan, media relations strategy and events organisation.

It involves establishing and managing PR communication processes, ensuring the image and messages are appropriately projected, distributed and communication objectives are met. He/ She will work closely with Ombria’s Sales & Marketing team, managing and facilitating the implementation of the PR & Events Strategy for Ombria Resort as a whole, and specifically the real estate products and brands. His/Her responsibilities will include planning and executing events, from its initial conception to its successful completion. He / She will manage day-to-day press office and administration responsibilities in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop a marketing communications and events plan for the Resort including producing budget and action plans for Real Estate, Golf and Resort
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level editorial placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Respond to media enquiries and information requests
  • Research and seek innovative PR opportunities, including identifying opportunities for the placement of stories and the promotion of Ombria’s spokespeople
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with PR agency network in order to facilitate promotion of the Resort and the organisation of international media visits to the Resort
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with media community
  • Organise and host incoming national and international media groups and individual press visitors to the Resort - utilising and liasing with international PR agency network, real estate agents and travel partners
  • Manage and co-ordinate the promotion of the Resort through opportunities such as trade shows, product launches, press conferences, media dinners and events
  • Develop and maintain media packs for the Resort - writing media materials, including news releases, presentations etc
  • Develop events concept and plan for Ombria Resort
  • Manage event logistics before and during the events
  • Maintain and control the PR & Event budgets
  • Collaborate with clients before and during all events by being the primary point of contact
  • Supervise and manage administrative systems, including monitoring of project costs, PR contacts database, Real Estate and Golf information, distribution of press releases, monitoring, measuring and recording all media clippings and impressions
  • Produce monthly PR & Events activity reports and press coverage reports 

 

Requirements

 

  • College / University degree, preferably in Public Relations, Communications or Business
  • Prior experience with a minimum 2 years in PR & Events, preferably in the Luxury Hospitality industry and/or Real Estate industry or PR agency
  • Courteous and efficient telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational/administrative skills with office management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese, English and French including strong writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage workload using own initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with limited resources
  • Ability to appreciate “the big picture”, whilst having a talent for detail and an inherent thoroughness in task approach, follow-up and completion
  • Strong understanding of the digital environment as a lead generation and marketing / engagement channel
  • Organized, results-oriented and deadline sensitive
  • Familiar with Portugal and the Algarve as a destination, its culture and traditions, and the key feeder markets
