These unprecedented and challenging times have shown us the vulnerability of our society but also its most committed and supportive side.
Whilst the health and well-being of our clients and staff is our top priority, we are remaining fully operational. We have created the conditions for most staff to work from home and we continue to manage our day-to-day business via conference calls and/or videoconferencing and assisting clients with their requests.
Construction works at our Viceroy Hotel & Residences are on-going, under a contingency plan that includes appropriate practices as per the Government’s advice, to ensure the health and well-being of all the workers on site. We remain fully committed to the planned completion date of the first phase and to start welcoming golfers, hotel guests and property owners in spring 2023.
Ombria Resort is being built as a sustainable low construction density development, set amidst rolling green hills, rivers and lush forests and spread over 150 hectares in a low population density area of the Algarve. Our owner and developer, the Finnish PONTOS Group is fully committed to guaranteeing the long-term success of Ombria Resort, which represents an investment valued at several hundreds of millions of Euros, bringing with it a positive impact on the local community and economy.
Our business continuity plan makes us confident that our investment and operational functions will remain resilient throughout the course of the current pandemic.
