The Viceroy Residences at Ombria Algarve were awarded with the Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency prize at the 2023 Lisbon Real Estate Exhibition – SIL Awards.
The project, located within the 153 hectares of Ombria, a luxury real estate development promoted by the Finnish group Pontos and located in the municipality of Loulé, includes 65 exclusive 1 to 2-bedroom apartments integrated into a five-star hotel managed by Viceroy Hotels & Resorts.
Distributed across several buildings inspired by the architecture of an Algarvian village, the apartments have interior areas ranging from 70 to 173 m2. They are fully furnished and equipped, with interior design by WATG's Wimberly Interiors, which integrate meticulously customized local natural materials. Some apartments include private pools and jacuzzis, allowing for the enjoyment of views over the golf course.

According to Ombria Algarve's Engineering Director, Cláudio Correia, "The perfect integration between bioclimatic architecture and the use of renewable energies will allow the realisation of the sustainable vision of NZEBs (buildings with nearly zero energy needs), including the installation of a pioneering geothermal system that is already a national case study."
Scheduled to open in autumn 2023, the Viceroy Residences and the Viceroy Hotel at Ombria Algarve will provide their owners with exclusive access to all services and facilities of the 5-star hotel.
