Ombria, the new luxury sustainable development located in the heart of the Algarve, scheduled to open in the spring of 2024, announces the appointment of João Richard Costa as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
João Richard Costa, previously Director of Sales & Marketing, is a highly respected leader at Ombria, with more than 18 years of experience across the luxury resort and residential development industry, 7 of which with Ombria. He has a deep expertise of international sales, marketing and communications of premium residential real estate, including branded residences managed by international hotel brands.
Under his leadership, Ombria’s brand value materially grew since its launch in 2016 and he has given special focus to building a talented and diverse Sales and Marketing team. He led the launch of sales of the Viceroy Residences at Ombria across several markets in all continents, having so far achieved over 80% of sales off-plan.
Before joining Ombria, João held several leadership commercial roles globally, in Morocco, Portugal, United Kingdom and Belgium.
His new role at Ombria will include all commercial aspects with a focus on revenue generation, business growth and sustainability. He will also take a leadership role within the management team and an expanded role regarding the overall strategic development of Ombria.
