Festival MED is back on the streets of Loulé for the 16th edition of the Algarve festival dedicated to World Music.
Back to its pre-pandemic format, MED has announced the line-up for this year's edition, which will take place between June 30th and July 3rd.
The festival will have stages located in Matriz, Cerca, Castelo and Chafariz and tickets are already available, on a pre-sale basis.
Amid the confirmed names are artists from the four corners of the world, from Brazil to Morocco, from Portugal to Jamaica, among which stand out the names of Aline Frazão, Bombino, Go_A, Mallu Magalhães, Noiserv, Scúru Fitchadú and Criatura, and plenty more.
For Carlos Carmo, director of the festival, this "is a very heterogeneous lineup, which encompasses many sounds and fulfills the objective of going to various parts of the globe, maintaining its original facet of walking a lot around the Mediterranean Basin".
